All Time High (ATH)

The all-time high is the highest price an asset has ever traded at, on a given venue or aggregated across markets. Traders use it as a sentiment marker more than a technical level — breaking ATH usually triggers attention regardless of the underlying chart structure. ATH can be reported in different reference currencies (USD, BTC, ETH), so the same asset may have several ATHs depending on the unit.
