FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt)
FUD is internet shorthand for negative sentiment spread either by genuine concern or by people who would profit from a price drop. The acronym predates crypto by decades — it comes from IBM-era enterprise sales — but has been adopted broadly by trading communities. The word is overused to the point that calling something "FUD" often just means "I disagree".
