Indexer
An indexer reads raw blockchain data and reorganizes it into a queryable database. Most user-facing dApps cannot query the chain efficiently enough on their own — they rely on an indexer (The Graph, a custom Postgres pipeline, an RPC provider's data API) to power features like transaction histories, leaderboards, or filtered event streams.
