Slippage

Slippage is the difference between the price you expected when you submitted a trade and the price it actually executed at. The two main causes are price movement during the wait and order book depth that cannot absorb the size. Most DEX interfaces let users set a slippage tolerance; setting it too high makes the trade vulnerable to sandwich attacks.
