Volatility
Volatility measures how much an asset's price moves around its mean over a given period. It can be computed historically (realized) or inferred from options prices (implied). Crypto assets have always been more volatile than equities; perpetual futures pricing, funding rates, and liquidations all depend heavily on volatility regime.
