XRPL (XRP Ledger)

The XRP Ledger is one of the longest-running blockchains, launched in 2012 and built around fast, low-cost payments. It uses a federated consensus model and is operated by Ripple in collaboration with a broader validator set. XRPL added native AMMs and smart contract amendments in recent years, expanding well beyond its original payments scope.
