Block Reward
The block reward is the amount paid to whoever produces a valid block. On proof-of-work chains it usually combines newly minted coins and the transaction fees inside the block. On proof-of-stake chains the reward is typically distributed to the validator and to delegators staked behind that validator, less the validator's commission.
