Handler

In RPC infrastructure, a handler is the piece of code that receives a JSON-RPC request, parses the method and parameters, dispatches it to the right backend, and formats the response. Production RPC providers stack many handlers — auth, rate limiting, caching, routing — in front of the actual node.
