JSON-RPC

JSON-RPC is a request/response protocol that uses JSON for both directions. Every EVM chain — including HyperEVM — exposes a JSON-RPC interface with standard methods (eth_blockNumber, eth_call, eth_getLogs) and chain-specific extensions. Wallets, indexers, and bots all talk to nodes through JSON-RPC over HTTPS or WebSockets.
