Hyperliquid
Hyperliquid is a Layer-1 blockchain built around an on-chain perpetuals exchange. It runs HyperBFT consensus, settles orders in sub-second time, and pairs HyperCore (the native trading engine) with HyperEVM (a general-purpose smart contract environment). Hyperliquid distinguishes itself from other DEXes by hosting a full order book on-chain — most other on-chain venues use AMMs because order books are hard to scale.
