Liquidity Pool

A liquidity pool is a smart contract holding reserves of two or more tokens that traders can swap against. Liquidity providers deposit a balanced ratio and earn a share of the swap fees. AMMs are built on top of liquidity pools — the pool's reserves and pricing formula together determine the trade price.
