Lockdrop
A lockdrop distributes new tokens to users who agree to lock existing assets for a defined period. It is a softer alternative to a sale: users do not part with their capital, but they give up flexibility for the duration of the lock. Astroport and several Cosmos launches popularized the model around 2021.
