Reorg (Chain Reorganization)
A reorg happens when the chain replaces recent blocks with a different sequence — usually because a longer or heavier chain appears. Deep reorgs are rare on mature networks but matter for applications that act on shallow confirmations. Some chains (including Hyperliquid) provide explicit finality, after which a reorg is no longer possible.
