Subgraph
A subgraph is a project on The Graph that defines how to index a specific set of contracts and exposes the indexed data through GraphQL. Frontends query the subgraph instead of querying the chain directly, which is faster, supports filtering and pagination, and removes the burden of running indexing infrastructure.
