Testnet
A testnet mirrors a chain's mainnet but with worthless tokens, used for development and QA. Most chains run one or several testnets; Ethereum has Sepolia and Holesky as its current main ones, and Hyperliquid runs a separate testnet with the same architecture as mainnet. Faucets hand out testnet tokens for free.
