Airdrop
An airdrop sends tokens to a list of wallet addresses, usually free or in exchange for past activity on a protocol. Projects use them to reward early users, bootstrap a community, or distribute governance rights. Eligibility often comes from a snapshot taken before the announcement, which means after the announcement is too late.
