dApp (Decentralized Application)
A dApp is an application whose backend lives on a blockchain. The frontend (usually a web app) connects to one or more smart contracts through an RPC endpoint and signs transactions through a wallet. The most common categories are DEXes, lending protocols, NFT marketplaces, and games.
