RPC (Remote Procedure Call)
RPC is the protocol layer that lets one program call functions on another over the network. In crypto, "RPC" almost always means the JSON-RPC interface a blockchain node exposes — every wallet, indexer, and bot uses it to read state and submit transactions. RPC quality (latency, uptime, archive support) directly determines what kinds of applications can run on top.
