Upgradable Smart Contract
An upgradable smart contract separates logic from storage using a proxy pattern: the storage contract holds the state, and a separate implementation contract holds the code that can be swapped out. The model is a trade-off — it lets teams fix bugs and add features, but it gives the upgrade authority real power over the contract.
