Yul

Yul is a low-level intermediate language used by the Solidity compiler to generate EVM bytecode. Developers sometimes write critical sections directly in Yul (or inline assembly, its in-Solidity dialect) to squeeze out gas. The trade-off is readability and safety: Yul bypasses most of Solidity's type system.
