Uptime
Uptime is the fraction of time a service is reachable and responsive. For RPC providers it is the headline SLA number, usually quoted as a percentage with multiple nines (99.9%, 99.99%). The difference between 99.9% and 99.99% looks small on paper but represents an order of magnitude fewer minutes of outage per year.
